The food was absolutely delicious. I had the friend whiting dinner with yams and greens. The staff was very friendly and professional and I placed my order and was out in no time. I highly recommend this pot. Very chill atmosphere!
Our server was very personable. The food selections are very good. The food prices are reasonable. I will definitely be eating here again. We got croaker lunch and pork chop dinner. The portions were ample servings and we had leftovers.
I think they just opened yesterday, so my daughter and I went to try, and I'll tell you they did not disappoint! Everything we tried was delicious! We will be returning soon.
On point!! Whiting was fried perfectly. Cabbage had the right amount of seasoning and the Mac and cheese is perfection!!! The corn bread with the honey butter was so soft it was almost like cake. Service was fast and friendly!! The young people behind the counter were so attentive, polite, and they definitely enjoy their jobs!! I will be back for sure!!
Very filling. Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Corn in hush puppies! I had catfish. But, they have plenty of seafood and no seafood options.
Found this place by accident. Very glad I did. The fried chicken, Mac and cheese and green beans were excellent. The service was great too. I will definitely be back.
I went here last night and it was really good. I am from Mississippi so I have had a lot of really good pork chops but this place has one of the best smothered pork chops I have ever had. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also really good. I got mac and cheese with my meal as well and honestly that was the only downside to the meal. The mac and cheese wasn’t bad but it just wasn’t great. They didn’t make a creamy cheese sauce they just had basically buttered noodles that had big clumps of cheese melted into it. I like my mac and cheese to be saucy. Everything else was great though.
What a hidden gem. Me and my buddy decided to grab some lunch on the way back home from an early morning activity in Southern Maryland. Saw the sign and decided to try it out. Semi hidden location beside a barbershop. Walked in to a birthday party with karaoke. Staff was prompt. Restaurant lively, vibe was fire. Food is well seasoned, reasonably priced, and quick to table. Met the owner, who was willing to share his story about his establishment. A must support!
First time ordering from this restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised, everything was delicious! The kitchen has 3 different cooks and they all make their menus, take out only. The employees are exceptional, very friendly and truly grateful for the business. We ordered salmon stuffed with crab meat. It was an dish that you don't see often and it was great, good size as well. We also got fried shrimp, they were very tender and done just right. I loved the mac and cheese, I appreciate it wasn't the common instant cheese sauce, but an actual smokey cheese. The employee Sam was great, opened boxes for us and showed everything we're getting, thanked us for coming and encouraged us to come back. They'll be making family size dishes for holidays as well. We'll definitely be back.
